1. Introduction
Yetupost is committed to protecting the privacy of its Users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data within the scope of providing our social media management services. By using Yetupost, the User consents to the practices described in this Policy. We recommend reading it in its entirety before creating an account or connecting any social network.
2. Data We Collect
2.1. Data Provided Directly by the User
When creating an account and using our services, we collect the following data:
Full name and email address.
Password (stored in encrypted format — never in plain text).
Phone number (for verification and payments via Multicaixa Express).
Billing and payment data (processed securely; Yetupost does not store bank card details).
Company or agency information, where applicable.
Content created on the platform: images, videos, texts, and captions for scheduled posts.
2.2. Data Collected Automatically
By using the platform, we automatically collect:
IP address and approximate location data.
Device type, operating system, and browser.
Activity history on the platform (scheduled posts, published content, accessed analytics).
Session data and cookies necessary for the platform's operation.
2.3. Data from Connected Social Networks
IMPORTANT NOTICE: By connecting your social media accounts to Yetupost, you authorize access to specific data from each platform required to provide the service. Data collected from each platform includes:
Facebook and Instagram (Meta):
Profile name, profile picture, account ID, and associated email address.
Access to the connected Facebook Page and Instagram Business/Creator account.
Permission to publish images, videos, Reels, and Stories on behalf of the User.
Access to post performance metrics (reach, likes, comments, shares).
Follower data and audience growth (Business/Creator accounts only).
TikTok:
Basic profile: username, profile picture, and account ID.
Permission to publish videos and photos on behalf of the User via Content Posting API.
Performance metrics for published videos (views, likes, comments).
Note: TikTok requires compliance with its Developer Guidelines and Content Sharing Guidelines, including the obligation not to add unauthorized watermarks or logos to published content.
YouTube (Google):
Basic channel information: name, profile picture, and channel ID.
Permission to upload and schedule videos on the User’s channel.
Access to basic video performance metrics (views, likes, comments).
Compliance with YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Google Developer Policies, which require the publication of a clear and transparent privacy policy.
LinkedIn:
Name, profile picture, and basic professional information (headline, company).
Permission to publish posts, images, and videos to the User’s profile and company pages.
Access to performance metrics for posts on company pages.
Note: LinkedIn member data may only be used to provide the service to the User; selling, redistributing, or combining it with third-party data is expressly prohibited.
X — Twitter:
Username (@handle), profile picture, and account ID.
Permission to publish tweets, images, and videos on behalf of the User, with their express consent.
Access to basic performance metrics for published tweets.
Compliance with the X Developer Policy, which requires the express and informed consent of the User before any action is taken on their behalf.
Telegram:
Username and Telegram account ID.
Permission to publish messages and content in the User’s channels and groups, as authorized.
Note: Telegram is a privacy-oriented platform; all integration complies with its API Terms and Bot Developer Terms.
3. How We Use Your Data
The data collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:
To provide the contracted services: scheduling, publishing, and content analysis.
To authenticate the User and ensure account security.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To send relevant notifications regarding account activity and scheduled posts.
To improve the platform based on aggregated and anonymized usage data.
To provide technical support and respond to User requests.
To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Sharing Data with Third Parties
Yetupost does not sell or rent Users' personal data to third parties. Data is shared only in the following circumstances:
With Connected Social Networks: Only the data strictly necessary to execute posts and obtain metrics, as authorized by the User via OAuth 2.0.
With payment service providers: (e.g., Multicaixa Express and partner banks) to process transactions securely.
With technical service providers: (e.g., server hosting, email services) subject to confidentiality agreements.
When required by law: by court order, or by competent Angolan authorities.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
The User's personal data is kept as long as the account is active. Upon account cancellation, data is deleted within a maximum period of 90 days, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it for a longer period. Content (images, videos) uploaded for scheduling and already published on Connected Social Networks remains on those platforms according to their own retention policies, independent of the Yetupost account cancellation.
6. Data Security
Yetupost implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect User data, including:
Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Encryption of passwords using secure hashing algorithms.
OAuth 2.0 authentication for accessing social networks (Yetupost never stores your social media passwords).
Access control by roles and permission levels.
Regular security monitoring and auditing.
7. User Rights
The User has the following rights regarding their personal data:
Right of access: To request a copy of the personal data we hold.
Right of rectification: To correct incorrect or incomplete data.
Right of erasure: To request the deletion of their account and associated data.
Right of portability: To receive their data in a structured and readable format.
Right to revoke consent: To disconnect any Connected Social Network at any time through account settings. To exercise any of these rights, the User can contact us at geral@yetupost.com.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Yetupost uses essential cookies for the platform's operation (authentication, session preferences) and analytical cookies to understand how Users interact with the platform. The User can manage their cookie preferences through browser settings.
9. Minors
Yetupost is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will proceed with its immediate deletion.
10. International Data Transfers
User data is processed and stored on servers located in Angola and/or in countries with adequate levels of protection. Any international transfer of data will comply with applicable legal requirements.
11. Compliance with Social Network Policies
Yetupost commits to fully complying with the privacy policies and developer terms of all integrated platforms. In particular:
Data obtained through Facebook/Instagram (Meta) APIs is used exclusively to provide the service to the User, in accordance with Meta Platform Terms.
TikTok data is processed according to the TikTok Developer Data Sharing Agreement and is not used to train AI models.
YouTube/Google data complies with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
LinkedIn data is used only for approved purposes and is not sold, redistributed, or combined with other sources.
X (Twitter) data is processed with the User’s express consent, in compliance with the X Developer Policy.
Integration with Telegram complies with its API Terms and Bot Developer Terms, respecting its nature as a privacy-oriented platform.
12. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Yetupost may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The User will be notified via email and through the platform about relevant changes. The date of the last update will always be indicated at the beginning of the document.
